Op. 21 – Job's Lament

The text is from the Book of Job, Chapter 3. This song was written at the suggestion of vocal teacher Leslie Bennett, already suffering from the cancer that would take his life before I could complete it, and is dedicated to his memory. The setting of this bleak text is sparse and tonally nebulous.
